The perfect naughty snack.
250g porridge oats
125g brown sugar
125g unsalted butter
4tbs golden syrup
50g dried cranberries
60g white chocolate (milky bar)
Preheat oven to 150c/300f/gas2
Step1) Heat the butter and sugar in a pan over a low heat, stirring continuously. Then add the golden syrup and take off the heat.
2) Mix the oats and cranberries into the mixture until well combined. Then pour into a buttered tin and flatten out, bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
3) Take out of the oven and let them cool, once cooled cut into squares. Melt the white chocolate in a bowl over a pan of water on low heat and drizzle over the top of the flapjacks to finish.
